Be-cause has been a part of the Payfast team since our startup years playing an important role in the storytelling of the brand as we've grown. They were instrumental in the development of the first-of-its-kind State of Pay industry report, which has become an annual staple that both media and our merchants look forward to. On the traditional PR side, the Be-cause team were strategic in writing and distributing press releases to announce product launches and unpack niche concepts for our target audiences. They also kept tabs on trends and current affairs for us to tap into - keeping Payfast at the centre of the conversation.
